David M. Brickman is Chief Executive Officer of NewPoint Real Estate Capital, a prominent commercial real estate finance company providing lending solutions to investors of multifamily, affordable housing, seniors housing, healthcare, and manufactured housing properties nationwide. He is also Executive Chairman of Meridian Capital Group, a leading commercial real estate services firm.

Brickman was previously CEO of Freddie Mac, one of the nation’s largest providers of mortgage financing, where he spent over 20 years. He is well known for his tenure as head of Freddie Mac Multifamily, where he led the $2.5 trillion company through a period of significant growth, change and disruption, developing numerous products including new structures for multifamily securities and innovative financing options to help preserve affordable rental housing.

Brickman’s educational accomplishments include doctoral coursework for a Ph.D. in economics and real estate at MIT, a master’s degree in public policy from Harvard University and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
